About WhooshWeb IC

Owned by DawnMarie Moe, WhooshWeb, Inc. opened in 1999 in Olympia, Washington, specializing in first-time web sites, updating and repairing existing web sites, and providing instruction to others in the care and maintenance of web sites.

In 2003, DawnMarie took a two-year full-time position with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) on their executive web team as their Intranet and also as Project Page Manager. WSDOT has an enormous web site comprised of hundreds of smaller sites, and her experience there broadened her knowledge and appreciation of the importance of meticulous web standards, copywriting specific to web readers, and providing access to the visually impaired through compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

She became experience interpreting data on web visitor activity, using it to streamline web content to serve the visitor. She traveled through the state helping employees create web pages dedicated to helping the reader find specific information in a huge web of data.

In 2005, Ms. Moe returned to her own company, as a consultant and turning her extensive experience away from building and remodeling web sites to the timely problem of helping the Internet user sift through the ocean of web pages to find precisely what they were looking for.

The company moved to Aurora, Nebraska in 2007 and became WhooshWeb IC.

DawnMarie works in partnership with her husband, Thaddeus. His MBA, experience in business analysis, and a long military history managing major projects add deeper levels of understanding and accountability to WhooshWeb IC's reporting section.
