Two of Will and Irene Beins' eight children, Cora and Ethel Maree, were present at the 1999 reunion at Peaceful Valley Ranch near Lyons Colorado on September 3rd to 6th.
Special activities included family togetherness and reminiscing, Sunday worship with a breathtaking view of God's handiwork high among the pines, past history picture displays, crafts of quilting, hats & stamping, talent night, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, and mountain climbing. A high point of our time together was sharing cherished memories of each departed family member and celebrating the birthdays of those still within our reach. And of course, the traditional Initiation in the Beins Clan.
Frannie & Bob Brauer and Rita & Lee Bring deserve high marks for coordinating this wonderful weekend together.
