James Rae Beins was born in Lincoln Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska for 6 years to earn a B.S in Pharmacy. Jim was the long time owner of the "old" Hartman Rexall drug store in York Nebraska which was renamed Beins Rexall.
In 1968 Jim married Sharon Reetz. To them were born Jeffery Jay and Brian Edward. In April 2000 the pharmacy part was sold to The Walmart Corp. Sheri curently is the owner and operator of the gift shop part of the store that has now been renamed "Beins Gifts and Collectibles". Jim and Sheri are now in the process of selling the "old" drug store items from the basment. Some of the contents date back to 1895. In his leasure Jim enjoys Flying model airplanes. Jim and Sheri both enjoy buying & selling antiques, and collecting old marbles.
